This is the fabric that is used the most by professionals. Other uses include aggregate separation, drainage filtration, and retaining wall filter fabric. 20+ year lifespan when covered with rock or mulch. Nonwoven Landscape Fabric must be covered with at least 3 inches of mulch or aggregate to guard against degradation. For weed suppression where fabric may be exposed to sunlight, we suggest woven ground cover.
